The mission of WAYZATA COMMUNITY TELEVISION (WCTV) is to improve the communication in the Wayzata community by developing and creating local programming that highlights Wayzata community events, history and issues.

'Ask the Mayor' Program
The 'Ask the Mayor' program was developed to give citizens a way to get their questions answered straight from the top. Mayor Ken Willcox will answer questions during the program each month that have been asked by citizens in Wayzata.

Wayzata City Council Meetings
City Council meetings normally air live every first and third Tuesday of the month and will be available for playback the following morning after the first live airing on this site or check the schedule for other times it will be available on Channel 8.


Wayzata Planning Commission Meetings
Planning Commission meetings normally air live every first and third Monday of the month and will be available for playback the following morning after the first live airing on this site or check the schedule for other times it will be available on Channel 8.


Wayzata Historical Society Archives
A new Historical Society Archives will run each month with reruns from the past running if there is not a new taping for the month. Most previous archive recordings are available for playback anytime on this website or check the schedule for airing times on Channel 8. Annual Night to Unite Event
The annual Night to Unite event is put on by the Wayzata Crime Prevention Coalition and is to raise awareness in the community and deter crime. The program is an overview of the events that take place and the people in the community that participate in the annual event.


Candidate Forums
If there is a public candidate forum that takes place in the City it may be taped and aired. The City does NOT endorse any particular candidate but will show a preview of all candidates at the forums.
